This afternoon I got to meet Alan Cross, the host of the Ongoing History of New Music. He was signing autographs and promoting the new Ongoing History compilation at our local "The Beat Goes On" used cd store. So I went down there today with my friends Ken and Jeffrey and I got my cd signed and chatted him up a bit.

Okay, actually I blathered on for a few minutes about how much of an influence his radio show has been in my life and how I've been listening to Toronto Alternative Station CFNY 102.1 Edge102 since 1986 and how music saved my soul... and so on.

I'm pretty sure he thought I was some sort of stalker.

No wonder he brings his dog with him to book/CD signings.
