So, what's the deal with the lyric quotes in the blog lately? Well, I've started yet another novel (please hold any jokes about how many I've actually finished) and I'm putting together quotes suited to each chapter. We'll just see how it goes.

"Could I write a requiem for you when you're dead?
She had the moves, she had the speed, it went to her head
She never needed anything to get her round the track
But when she's on her back
She had the knowledge
To get her into college
But when she's on her back
She had the knowledge
To get her into college" -- The Stars of Track and Field, Belle & Sebastian from If You're Feeling Sinister

My eldest son Drew turned 6 on Saturday and wow! did he have a busy weekend.

On Saturday night, I took Drew and Joey to the motorcycle races at Niagara Motorcycle Raceway! It was an exciting night at the races for the boys. The raceway now has a 50cc class for 5 and 6 year old kids and Drew thought that was the greatest thing. It was also exciting for the boys to see their Papa Brian working the gate and their Uncle Danny working as a quarter marshall on turn 4!

On Sunday, Sheri's friend Tina took Joey, Sheri and Drew to Zooz, the local Zoo here in Niagara.

Today Sheri had a bunch of Drew's friends over for a big breakfast party! They had pancakes and french toast and eggs for breakfast and then they watched Scooby Doo meets Batman and Robin. Drew got a bunch of Spiderman stuff, some toy cars etc.

I missed the party though. I had to work.
