The show last night was amazing. I met the Ladies and Gentlemen and bought a CD and saw some other great bands to boot: Sleep The Season along with Wintersleep,Friday Mornings Regret, In the Hills the Cities, and Noyan Hilmi (Five Blank Pages). I hung out with Greg "the soundman". He's cool. He owns a farm and records bands at his farmhouse studio, has been doing it for years now, since before Jerry's Alley burned down. So we talked about music while the bands played, and that was nice. Jeffrey couldn't make it, he didn't have the money for cover, and Steve and Robin couldn't make it, because they got stuck at a party in Thorold until 1 am. Still, it was a great night, and I got to meet some great people. The bands' were all gracious and not at all uptight. Very cool.

Hey everyone!

Tonight I am going to see this new Toronto indie band, The Ladies and Gentlemen. They are so good! You all know how much I love music, and it
takes a lot to get me excited, and this band is it!

They have 3 or 4 songs that you can listen to with flash player on their
website. (http://theladiesandgentlemen.net/)

(nothing to download.. site just plays music... clickety click!)

They just finished opening for Matt Good, and before that they opened for
Sloan.

They're now promoting their debut album Small Sins.

Give them a listen and if you like them, maybe you will come out and see them with me at The Merchant Ale House tonight (Sunday November 13th).

I'll follow up with a blog on the show later tonight or tomorrow.
